OUR STORY

Born from a Student's Frustration

Hi, I'm Melissa Lu — a 16-year-old student from Sydney and the founder of Star Student Stationery.

It started in Year 8 with a strict teacher who made me draw margins every lesson. At tutoring and other schools, I saw students doing the same thing. A total waste of time.

I looked for alternatives but couldn't find any. So I made my own — maths notebooks with margins already in them.

In the summer of 2024, Star Student Stationery was born. We're starting small, but our goal is to get these notebooks onto shelves across Australia.
