The Problem

It started in Year 8 with a very strict maths teacher who made every student draw margins in their notebook — every single lesson. At tutoring and at other schools, the same thing was happening. Five minutes wasted, every class, drawing straight lines with a ruler.

For someone who already didn't love maths, it was enough to make the subject even more frustrating.

The Search

After looking everywhere — Officeworks, online stores, even overseas — the result was the same: no one made maths notebooks with pre-drawn margins. The market was a desert.

That's when it hit: why not create maths notebooks with margins already in them?

The Launch

In the summer of 2024, Star Student Stationery was born. The first product — the Ice Blue Spiral Double Margin Notebook — was designed from scratch. Every detail was considered: the paper weight, the grid size, the margins, the formula sheet at the back.

Every notebook is personally packed and hand-delivered to the post office by Melissa herself.

The Mission

Star Student Stationery's mission is simple: make school easier, one notebook at a time. We're starting small — but our goal is big. We want to get our notebooks onto shelves across Australia, so no student ever wastes another second drawing margins.
